Our Work at Vengurla Municipal Council.

The LAHS Solid Waste Management project encouraged the people of Vengurla to segregate their waste and thus generate less garbage. We proposed a biogas capacity of 2.5 tons and 2 composting machines that utilized solar energy and other unique sustainable resource abilities to manage organic waste at Vengurla. We built a balling machine to help reduce, reuse, and recycle plastic through garden waste and develop briquettes out of abandoned furniture found along with other materials. The municipality is now proud of the fact that none of the generated waste will end up in dumping grounds with access available for everyone to visit where they will be able to learn about environmental stewardship via our example through the creation of walking trails for citizens, students, business members who are dedicated to making sure India’s economy knows how to sustain its natural resources better by not wasting them by sending it elsewhere but taking care of it with ease instead.
